SprintTimer is a unique sports timer and photo finish app that utilizes the same techniques as the fully automatic timing equipment (FAT) used at the Olympics. With a simple start of the timer and pointing the camera towards the finish line, the app generates an image where you can scroll to view the time for each competitor with a precision of 0.01 seconds*. In addition, SprintTimer offers a motion/human-activated Video Finish feature for longer races and a Start Sender capability for wirelessly controlling SprintTimer from another device.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The Start Sender and Results Manager features require the purchase of SprintTimer Pro, which is available as a subscription for $4.99 per year. A 2-week free trial period is available.

If you choose to subscribe to SprintTimer Pro, the purchase will be charged to your Apple ID account. The subscription will automatically renew 24 hours prior to the end of the period. You can manage the subscription from the user settings in iTunes after purchase and cancel the auto-renewing subscription from there as well.

If you purchase a new SprintTimer Pro subscription during a free trial, any remaining free trial from your initial subscription will be forfeited.
